About
Katie Harr is an east-coast based editor and motion graphics artist who always strives to push the boundaries of creativity and build a strong arsenal of skills. Beginning her film journey as a kid creating improv series and music videos in Windows Movie Maker, she grew her craft over the years, working on a variety of projects -- from quirky short films to online interview series to indie feature films.After graduating from film school, she began working as an Assistant Editor alongside award-winning editors and producers for popular brands. In addition to assisting on food, celebrity, and lifestyle projects, she is the lead editor for series including Southern Living's "Biscuits & Jam," Travel + Leisure's "T+L Eats World," "Go With Gifford," and pilot series "Out Of Office," and Entertainment Weekly's "Who Said It," "Emoji Decoder," and "Pop Culture of My Life."Outside of brand work, Katie regularly collaborates with directors in on-set and post-production roles for both short and feature-length films. From drama to science-fiction to coming of age, she continues to grow her repertoire and hone her craft.In addition, she volunteers with Odyssey of the Mind--the world's largest creative problem-solving competition organization--as a member of the Pennsylvania Association's State Board of Directors, using her creative skills to keep alumni connected, as well as editing the online series "PODyssey of the Mind" and "OM Alumni Interview Series."
